MISSION & HISTORY.
Universal Healthcare Advocates of Lancaster (UHAL) is a non-partisan, grassroots coalition of healthcare professionals and concerned citizens united by compassion, empathy, and a commitment to inclusive, equitable, accessible, and affordable healthcare for all. We advocate for universal health coverage by any legislative means necessary and aim to achieve the best outcomes in cost, quality, and access of all healthcare services to all Americans. Through public education, community action, and peaceful political engagement, UHAL works to advance health justice and dignity for every individual—especially in the face of rising inequality, political extremism, and the growing threat of fascism in the United States of America
